Field Application Engineer - Benelux (NL)

We are now recruiting for a Field Application Engineer - Benelux. 

Are you passionate about translating customer needs into technical solutions and product improvements, being the first point of contact for our customers? Inventronics is now hiring for a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in Tilburg, The Netherlands. 

You will join a local team of 2 colleagues and report to the EU Product & Solutions Head in NL. You will be part of a bigger European FAE team, working cross-functionally with CQM, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, EHS, and Quality to support and resolve customer inquiries. This includes visits, presentations, trainings, trade fairs, and hands-on technical work such as measurements, testing, and demo kit builds.

In addition, you will: 

• Be the first point of contact for customers and monitor customer projects and process requests via CRM. You ensure timely follow-up, communication, and escalation where needed (Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce CRM)

• Assist customers with digital tools such as eCatalog, eShop, and online configurators 

• Manage end-to-end delivery of paid services, from quotation to execution 

• Contribute to sales and product support materials (e.g. presentations, manuals, installation drawings, application guides). Participate in (online) meetings covering training, operational, and organizational topics 

• Support additional local or regional business activities, including cross-functional tasks (e.g. export management, sales operations)

• Support regional colleagues through knowledge sharing and acting as backup 

What you’ll bring: 

• A completed Bachelor’s degree

• At least 5+ years in Technical support / Application engineering

• Advanced knowledge of lighting systems (LED drivers, LED Modules, light management systems); knowledge of AI, API integration and BMS is a plus

• Experience in design-in support & customer claim handling

• Customer oriented, strong problem-solving & data analysis skills (root cause analysis)

• Proficient in MSOffice & CRM systems

• Fluent English & Dutch (written & spoken); any additional language is a plus

• Good team player & effective cross-functional communication

• Reside near East Benelux (Netherlands/Belgium) & able to travel regionally

• Willingness to work at least 3 office days per week in Tilburg, NL
