“Ningsih, do you have a job for me?”
I get that question quite often. But in the first conversation, it quickly becomes clear: it’s rarely just about finding a job.
In many cases, there has already been a long and frustrating search. Dozens of rejections, sometimes based on questionable reasons — slowly start to chip away at confidence.
And then that one question arises:
What is wrong with me? I have so much experience, don’t I?
This week, I spoke with an experienced professional who feels completely stuck.
The job market is still challenging. There’s a lot of uncertainty in companies, few vacancies in certain fields, organizations are restructuring… and at the same time, the cost of living keeps rising. At some point, savings start to run out. And that’s when things become stressful.
Because:
How do I find a job in this jungle of job sites?
Why do I hear nothing after applying?
What’s wrong with my CV? Am I doing something wrong?
Why am I not being invited to a first interview?
These are just some of the questions I hear on a daily basis.
And although the initial goal is often “finding a job,” there is almost always more going on beneath the surface.
That’s what I’ll explore with you.
I start with a conversation to truly understand who you are. What you’re good at. But most importantly: what gives you energy and what makes you happy. From there, I provide targeted advice on your CV, your interview preparation, and your mindset.
No vague conversations, but practical guidance that strengthens your self-awareness — so you can re-enter the job market with renewed energy and confidence.
Because once you’re clear on who you are and what you bring to the table, you start approaching your job search differently.
